Engagements
Creating an engagement
Section titled “Creating an engagement”- Click Create Engagement in the top navigation bar.
- Enter the client name — select from existing contacts or create a new one.
- Give the engagement a descriptive title (e.g., “Acme Corp — Salesforce CRM Implementation”).
- Set the engagement type and expected timeline.
- Click Create to open the engagement workspace.

Section titled “The engagement workspace”Each engagement has tabs for different aspects of the project:

| Info | Client details, engagement metadata, key dates |
| Similars | Past engagements that match this one — for reference pricing and scope |
| Notes | Meeting notes, client conversations, AI-extracted context |
| Quotes | Structured pricing with groups, line items, and markup |
| Documents | Generated SOWs, proposals, and other deliverables |
| Resource Plans | Team assignments and capacity allocation |
Using Similar Engagements
Section titled “Using Similar Engagements”When you create a new engagement, Servantium searches your history for similar past work using semantic matching. This surfaces:
- How you priced similar engagements
- What resources were assigned
- Where estimates were accurate (or not)
- Delivery lessons from comparable projects
Engagement statuses
Section titled “Engagement statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Work in progress, not yet sent to client |
| Active | Won and in delivery |
| On Hold | Paused, will resume |
| Completed | Delivered and closed out |
| Lost | Did not win the engagement |
