Engagements

  1. Click Create Engagement in the top navigation bar.
  2. Enter the client name — select from existing contacts or create a new one.
  3. Give the engagement a descriptive title (e.g., “Acme Corp — Salesforce CRM Implementation”).
  4. Set the engagement type and expected timeline.
  5. Click Create to open the engagement workspace.

Each engagement has tabs for different aspects of the project:

TabPurpose
InfoClient details, engagement metadata, key dates
SimilarsPast engagements that match this one — for reference pricing and scope
NotesMeeting notes, client conversations, AI-extracted context
QuotesStructured pricing with groups, line items, and markup
DocumentsGenerated SOWs, proposals, and other deliverables
Resource PlansTeam assignments and capacity allocation

When you create a new engagement, Servantium searches your history for similar past work using semantic matching. This surfaces:

  • How you priced similar engagements
  • What resources were assigned
  • Where estimates were accurate (or not)
  • Delivery lessons from comparable projects
